In retrospect I think I had an extreme biological response to the pain. I ended up with a low grade fever but had taken Tylenol before it got too high because my head was hurting from shaking so hard. I had to lay under my heated blanket for an hour, shivering, waiting for the gas-x to kick in. On 3/2 after a couple hours out of the house I developed severe gas pains (I think?) with chills. I abided by the lifting restrictions as well.

I spent some time out of the house getting lunch, grocery shopping, etc. I continued with aleve and a muscle relaxer at bedtime as well as miralax and stool softener. I had minimal spotting, and pain was manageable so I stopped pretty much all pain meds by 7 dpo. I haven’t had the mental or emotional energy to type this all out till now… I would say the first week itself seemed textbook but at 9 days post op things went awry for me. I had a laparoscopic total hysterectomy, bilateral salpingectomy, left oophorectomy, and cystoscopy with endometriosis excision on 2/21. It’s been a very tough 15 days since I woke up from surgery guys 🥲 For context, I’m 35 with HBP, one child 8 years old, pretty sedentary lifestyle but fortunate genetic-wise that I am on the lower end of the average BMI.
